This is the first edition of CSA ISO 14016,
Environmental management — Guidelines on the assurance of environmental reports, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 14016 (first edition, 2020-06). At the time of publication, ISO 14016:2020 is available from ISO in English only. CSA Group will publish the French version when it becomes available from ISO.
This Standard has been developed in compliance with Standards Council of Canada requirements for National Standards of Canada. It has been published as a National Standard of Canada by CSA Group.
Scope:
This document gives principles and guidelines for assuring the environmental information an organization includes in its environmental reports.
This document is applicable to assuring other types of reports in principle provided that special consideration is paid to identifying the competence needed by the assurance provider.
